How to check which diagnostic software bundle / version I have?

To check which software bundle / version is currently installed on your diagnostic scanner, the quickest way is to look for the software bundle icon on the home screen. The icon is typically located in either the left or right lower corner (e.g. 24.2, 25.4, 26.2 etc)

Example: 26.2 

• 26 = year 2026
•  .2 = version

Software upgrades occur twice per year every six months, with the first indicated by .2  the second is indicated by .4 (e.g. 26.4)

The first upgrade of the year (the .2 release) typically occurs in April,

• The .2 version typically expires when the next upgrade (.4) is released.

The second upgrade of the year (.4 release) typically occurs in October.

• The .4 version typically expires when the next upgrade (.2) is released.
