error code 450, Authorization Denied, Account Suspended Expired, Failed to Start a Link Session, Failed to Retrieve Secure Gateway Certificate, user authentication failed

A Security Link error containing reference code 450 may indicate different issues, depending on the specific error message that is present. This article contains multiple descriptions and checks for code 450.
Option 1:
Reference code 450 - Security Link error message "Authorization Denied - Account Suspended"
Here are some things to check:
- Check to ensure your AutoAuth account is in good standing and not expired.
- Ensure your AutoAuto credentials are complete and accurate on the Device Management tab of your Technician Profile Manager,
Option 2:
Reference code 450 - Security Link error message "Authorization Denied - Failed to Start a Link Session"
Note: This error is typically associated with STELLANTIS / FCA
Here are some things to check:
- Ensure you ONLY entered your credentials for the STELLANTIS North America option. If you entered your credentials under the FCA World Wide Credentials option you must remove them and/or remove that account. FCA World Wide is used only for customer who reside outside of North America.
- Check and or re-enter your AutoAuth credentials into your Technician Profile Manager
- Check and or re-enter your Technician Profile Manager in your AutoAuth account
- Ensure you did not enter your Technician Profile Manager login credentials into the Secure Gateway tab in your AutoAuth account.
- Check and remove the hyphen ( - ) from the tool serial number on your AutoAuth account.
- Check to make sure your AutoAuth account is valid and in good standing.
Ensure your AutoAuth username entered into your Technician Profile Manager is in lowercase. do not use uppercase.
Option 3:
Security Link reference code 450, message “Authorization Denied - Failed to Retrieve Secure Gateway Certificate”
This indicates there is a problem with your AutoAuth account.
Here are some things to check:
- Check to make sure your AutoAuth account is valid and in good standing.
- Check and or re-enter your AutoAuth credentials into your Technician Profile Manager
- Check and or re-enter your Technician Profile credentials in your AutoAuth account
- Check and or re-enter the device serial number into both accounts, ensure they match across accounts.
- Ensure the device serial number on the label (back of device) matches the serial number displayed in the device software "system information"
- Check and remove the hyphen ( - ) from the tool serial number on your AutoAuth account.
- Ensure your AutoAuth username entered into your Technician Profile Manager is in lowercase. do not use uppercase.
Option 4:
Reference code 450 - with Error code 2, Security Link message “user authentication failed”
Ensure your AutoAuth credentials are complete and accurate on the Device Management tab of your Technician Profile Manager,
