How do I use Security Link for Ford vehicles?

Ford secure gateway access is included for free through Snap-on® Security Link™. 

Ensure the requirements below are met in order for Security Link to work.

• Current Snap-on Diagnostics Software
• Snap-on Technician Profile
• Wi-Fi Connection 
• Profile Access Code created in your Technician Profile

You can access most locked Ford systems and functions with an applicable Snap-on Scanner that has Wi-Fi capability, current software, and a good Wi-Fi connection. You do not need to setup an OEM account or link it to your Technician Profile. Ford Security Link works seamlessly in the scanner software, but you must have the current software installed and a strong Wi-Fi connection to access Ford vehicle systems via the Scanner function.
